Reupholster an Armchair: 4-Week Upholstery Workshop

This intimate four-week upholstery workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn the craft of professional upholstery in a private studio setting. Designed for small groups and thoughtful makers, the workshop guides each participant through the process of reupholstering an armchair from start to finish, with close attention to technique, materials, and craftsmanship.

Led by Brittany Fentress, owner of SpiritThread Studio and Stitches, this workshop draws on over 10 years of professional upholstery experience working with custom furniture, designers, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Instruction is deliberate, supportive, and highly individualized—allowing each student to build both skill and confidence in a calm, studio-based environment.
